Langtang Valley Trekking (11) Days.

Langtang region that lies to the north of Kathmandu and south of the Tibetan border offers many trekking destination. Like other trekking areas in Nepal,Langtang is famous all over the world for its natural beauties. Trekking to Langtang Valley offers an opportunity to explore villages, climb small peaks and visit glaciers at a comfortably low elevation.  Trek through forests to an alpine valley just south to Tibetan border where you can have the good alpine views and interesting Tibetan style villages.

Langtang Valley trekking is a famous and interesting trekking. Langtang is a renowned narrow valley covered by wildflowers and rhododendron. It is surrounded by high peaks and known as the treasure house of the alpine plants.

Trekking to Langtang region begins from the town of Dhunche which is 117 km from Kathmandu. Dhunche is a picturesque village with narrow streets lined with stone buildings.  Buses to Dhunche leave from the intersection of the Ring Road and the road to Balaju, north of Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu
Day 02: Kathmandu City Tour
Day 03: Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi (1462m)
Day 04: Syabru Bensi to Lama Hotel (2470m)
Day 05: Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3430m)
Day 06: Explore the Langtang Valley
Day 07: Langtang village to Kyanjin Gompa (3870m)
Day 08: Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel
Day 09: Lama Hotel to Syabru Bensi
Day 10: Syabru Bensi to Kathmandu
Day 11: Transfer to Airport for your onward journey.

  • Transportation to and from Kathmandu by air or road as per itinerary.
  • 3 meals per day during the trek (breakfast, lunch & dinner) including the coffee and tea.
    Accommodation in tea house or provided tents during the trek as mentioned in the trek type.
  • Accommodation including breakfast at 5 star hotels in Kathmandu.
  • Highly experienced Government licensed guide and necessary porters during the trek.
  • Government / Local taxes, Tourist service charge, guide / porter insurance and salary, general equipment, national park and conservation area fees.
  • Kathmandu City Tour with an Experienced Tour Guide ( Kathmandu , Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur) depends on your time frame.
  • Trekking Registration Certificate (TRC).
