Kanchenjunga is in the far north eastern corner of Nepal and borders with India and Tibet. These remote areas are home to the Rias, one of Nepal’s ethnic groups. Trekking in Kanchenjunga allows you views of the mountains rimming Tibet and also Mount Everest and the Khumbu region. This less frequented area gives the trekker the chance to take in the remoteness, peace and tranquility if the wilderness as well as experience a unique blend of Tibetan and northern Indian cultures. The area is surrounded by the Kanchenjunga conservation park and is home to Kanchenjunga (8598), Drohmo (6850m), Nupchu (6690) and Jannu (7710m) mountains, some of them the most beautiful and least explored mountains in the world.

Kanchenjunga South Trekking Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu
Day 02: Kathmandu City Tour
Day 03: Kathmandu to Taplejung (one and half hour flight)
Day 04: Taplejung to Thembewa (1880meters)
Day 05: Thembewa to Keswa (1960m)
Day 06: Keswa to Mamanke (1810m)
Day 07: Mamanke to Yamphudin (1690m)
Day 08: Yamphudin to Omje Khola (river) (2340m)
Day 09: Omje Khola to Torontan (2990m)
Day 10: Torontan to Tseram (3870m)
Day 11: Taseram to Ramche (4620m)
Day 12: Day trip to Yalung Glacier
Day 13: Trek back to Tseram.
Day 14: Trek back to Lamite Bhanjyang.
Day 15: Trek back to Phonpe.
Day 16: Trek back to Khunjari.
Day 17: Trek back to Suketar.
Day 18: Fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 19: Transfer to Airport. Farewell to continue your journey to your onward destination.

Day 01: Kathmandu to Basantapur (2200m)
Day 02: Basantapur to Chauki (2700m)
Day 03: Chauki to Gupa Pokhari (2930m)
Day 04: Gupa Pokhari ti Nesum (1620m)
Day 05: Nesum to Thumma
Day 06: Thumma to Chirwa (1190m)
Day 07: Chirwa to Sakathum (1640m)
Day 08: Sakathum Amjilassa (2490m)
Day 09: Amjilassa to Kyapra (2730m)
Day 10: Kyapra to Gunsa (3430m)
Day 11: Gunsa to Khambachen (4040m)
Day 12: Acclimatization on Khambachen
Day 13: Khambachen to Lhonak (4790m)
Day 14: Lhonak to Pang Pema (5140m)
Day 15: Pang Pema to Khambachen
Day 16: Trek back to Gunsa.
Day 17: Trek back to Chirwa.
Day 18: Chirwa to Linkhim
Day 19: Linkhim to Suketar
Day 20: Fly back to Kathmandu (1 and half hours fly)

Price Includes:
- Transportation to and from Kathmandu by air or road as per itinerary.
- 3 meals per day during the trek (breakfast, lunch & dinner) including the coffee and tea.
